Reverse of disc showing hanging recesses
A very old Chinese symbol, representing the interconnectedness of the world - positive balances negative, light balances shadow, male balances female. This disc has two fixing recesses, so it can be hung with either Yin or Yang aspect uppermost. Both sections of the design are textured, with a carved line separating the two.
